Are There Stigmas Associated With Living Your Story?

Do you like coloring your hair the full spectrum of the rainbow?

Do you enjoy speaking about topics that others find uncomfortable?

Do you simply wish to live your life without judgement or persecution?

There are over six billion people on this planet with cultural, national, political, and social differences.

There may be differences that are objectively amoral, but for the most part, one could say there are different flavors to live a life.

If you like chocolate and somebody likes vanilla, it would be an absurd argument to have with them over which flavor is best.

Likewise, if you like to skip down the street singing show tunes and another person likes peace, quiet and solitude, there is no need to try to belittle each other for different life choices.

However, people can find ways to make differences worth fighting over.

They can make the other feel insignificant and small.

When you go about living your personal story, have you come across dissenters?

Are there #stigmas associated with living your #story?

Join us, DeeJae DuRante, Caleb Pearson, Oleg Loughed, as we explore the impact of stigmas, ways to reduce stigmas, and other related topics.

Why Do We Feel The Need To Create New Things?

Why do you feel the need to create?

Why does getting something new make us feel so good?

Why is what we have not enough?

Tune in, as Oleg and BJ Miller, explore the need for creation, ways to appreciate life, and other related topics.

What Is The Ultimate Power Of A Single Story?

Can it truly #change a life?

Millions who have walked the face of the Earth have tried to crack the code … to find the perfect formula.

Yet, decades later, many are still searching for it.

What ultimately contributes toward creating that story or personal #narrative?

How does one know when to break away from it?

Join us, July 16, 10:45 AM CST, as Scott Mason, Casey Berman, and Oleg Lougheed, discuss the role personal narrative has in the unfolding of one’s life, ways to let go of stories that no longer serve you, and other related topics.

The trend may continue, we may become a part of millions of others who haven’t found the perfect formula for such story.

But, we are willing to try, with your help, of course :)

Lifting Each Other Up

After being torn down and told by multiple people that she wasn’t good enough to succeed, Mila DeChant decided to flip the narrative and reclaim her own identity.

Taking back her voice from the people who tried to keep her down, she realized the importance of having support and wants to preach to others that lifting each other up is a meaningful and worthwhile feeling that doesn’t cost a thing. Knowing what it’s like to face adversity without an ally, DeChant encourages others to focus on life with an extended lens and consider what other people are going through, because often times everyone is experiencing something important that can resonate with someone else.

Going through life with the mindset that whoever crosses your path can impact your character in some way or another, she wants to show everyone that there is no reason to “dim anyone’s light” nor have your own light dimmed, and that even the smallest act of kindness can lift someone up.

Today Is My January 1st

Resolutions are meant to be maintained and pursued, not ditched after a couple of weeks.

They’re often made because we want a fresh start, which is why entrepreneur Che Brown declares that any day can be your January 1 st , and you can change the path of your life with the implementation of just one good idea.

By realizing that you are not alone, you have support, and that you are a fighter, you can be happy no matter what. After facing multiple setbacks, Che Brown had reached a very low point in his life.

While filing for bankruptcy, he realized something that steered him towards picking himself back up: he was not alone.

Many others were facing the same problems he was, and that was enough to know there was a possibility for change. With the mindset that “a setback is a setup for a comeback,” he decided that he would make today his January 1 st and get a do-over in life.

Following that idea has helped him rise up from his low point, and he encourages everyone to realize that thoughts can be changed, and that ideas can be manifested.

All you need is to have what he calls the “never-again moment,” in which you decide that you want a change, a rebirth, and that today will be your January 1 st .
