Networking Through Service

The people we surround ourselves with can have a huge impact on our lives. In building our own personal networks, we open ourselves up to new opportunities we may not even be aware of yet and develop a valuable asset that can never be taken away from us.

In this episode, Nate Peo discusses the importance of having real personal connections in our network. In putting ourselves out there more and delving outside of comfort zones, we can develop diverse connections that broaden our worldviews and create positive outcomes.

Continually building these relationships and thinking of ways to serve others will benefit us in the long run because we never know who will play what part in our lives.

What Is Yearning To Be Expressed?

Laura Staley, founder of Cherish Your World, grew up in rough environments in which she was often shamed and belittled and didn’t have a safe space she could escape to. Through the ongoing process of healing, she learned how to shed the negative behavior patterns she had adopted through these challenging experiences and find her own voice.

By engaging in transformational work throughout adulthood, she has been able to undergo a change of heart, mind, body, and soul that she hopes others can experience as well. Following the wisdom of Feng Shui, Staley believes that the clutter in your heart can be cleared just as the clutter in your outer space. She preaches that your inner world is just as important to enrich as the outer world, and although everyone has their individual journeys, this transformation that occurred for her helped her to appreciate the beauty of being alive. From feeling at war with her body to finding solace within it, Staley’s journey proves that it is possible to heal, it is possible to forgive, and it is possible to love again.

Today Is My January 1st

Resolutions are meant to be maintained and pursued, not ditched after a couple of weeks.

They’re often made because we want a fresh start, which is why entrepreneur Che Brown declares that any day can be your January 1 st , and you can change the path of your life with the implementation of just one good idea.

By realizing that you are not alone, you have support, and that you are a fighter, you can be happy no matter what. After facing multiple setbacks, Che Brown had reached a very low point in his life.

While filing for bankruptcy, he realized something that steered him towards picking himself back up: he was not alone.

Many others were facing the same problems he was, and that was enough to know there was a possibility for change. With the mindset that “a setback is a setup for a comeback,” he decided that he would make today his January 1 st and get a do-over in life.

Following that idea has helped him rise up from his low point, and he encourages everyone to realize that thoughts can be changed, and that ideas can be manifested.

All you need is to have what he calls the “never-again moment,” in which you decide that you want a change, a rebirth, and that today will be your January 1 st .
